The MSc Global Accounting Top-Up can be started once you complete LSBF’s distance learning ACCA course and achieved your ACCA qualification. The course is delivered by The University of Law Business School, and can be studied in our central London campus or online through distance learning. In order to successfully complete the Global Accounting degree, students are required to complete the Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility modules as well as a final dissertation project.

Prospective students from any part of the country can now take their MBA from anywhere without the need to go to the ABU campus at all. Lecture videos and study materials can be accessed offline via custom tablets or Dual USB sticks on smartphones or PCs. Submitting assignments and projects as well as interacting with lecturers, tutors and other classmates all happen via ABU’s e-learning portal online. What about exams? Those can be done in examination centers spread across all regions in Nigeria.
In an event to mark the launch of the programme the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Ibrahim Garba, represented by his Deputy (Administration), Professor Ibrahim Naiya Sada, at the launch event said “this is a same degree, same ABU and accredited by the NUC, so it’s safe”. In a bid to make the programme more robust than any other in the country, the university is also partnering with big names in the corporate industry. The partnership with Jobberman will avail Jobberman users who become students special offers regarding career options from internships to CV re-writes and job placement.
Companies like Accenture Nigeria will improve the program experience through internship opportunities for students during the semester and full time jobs after the program. As part of the global management consulting company’s initiative to diversify its workforce, the Managing Director, Niyi Yusuf said that “Accenture will be looking to hire brilliant candidates of Northern backgrounds via this program”. The MBA is suited for middle level workers in the private or public sector who want to accelerate their careers, and also entry level workers or fresh graduates who need an extra advantage in the workplace and job market. Financial aid also exists in form of low interest loans from partnering Banks.
